In the final year of West-Pac football, every team wants the chance to say that they were the last champions in the conference.
The Windber Ramblers are the reigning West-Pac champions. And believe they have a strong case to repeat.
The Ramblers had a phenomenal season last year.
They averaged about 53 points per game, finished 11-1 and defeated Cambria Heights in the Appalachian Bowl.
Next year the Ramblers will move to the ICC.
Head Coach Matt Grohal is excited for the chance to have a 10-game schedule.
Grohal said it will be tough losing those important games against Portage and Conemaugh Township, but some rivalries will transfer across conference line.
