Westmont House Fire

Several crews were on scene of a house fire Wednesday night in Westmont Borough.

Authorities say the fire broke out, just before 9 p.m., at a home along the 100 block of Clarion Street.

Crews on scene say flames were “shooting” out of the house, and that most of the damage was to the front of the house.

All occupants were able to evacuate the home, officials say, and no injuries were reported.

West Hills fire department was assisted by crews from Johnstown, Southmont, Upper Yoder and Richland departments.

A state police fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
