Officials with the Westmont Hilltop School District say authorities have concluded their investigation into an alleged threat made against the elementary school and have deemed it as non-credible.
According to a statement sent to the district, officials were notified of the alleged threat overnight, via the Safe2Say app, and local law enforcement was contacted.
“With the recent national and statewide news reports, we are all on edge about the safety and security of our children. We are proactive with our daily approach to school safety and reactive to all reports of potential school
violence. We thank the tipster who made the report.”
Officials say the district continued with normal operations on Tuesday and noted that the schoolshave full-time police coverage.
