Altoona police are searching a local man who faces hundreds of charges in connection to a lengthy child sex assault investigation.
Police say 41-year-old Jason Michael Brandt faces 172 counts of Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, 32 counts of Rape, 24 counts of Statutory Sexual Assault, and 104 counts of Unlawful Contact with a Minor.
Authorities say Brandt is wanted for repeatedly sexually assaulting children “over a lengthy period of time.”
Brandt is a resident of Altoona but police believe that he may have also fled to North Carolina after being charged.
