The Cambria County Drug & Alcohol Program announced that some schools will be awarded funding for the purchase of Vape Protectors.
Officials with the program say the purchase is under its environmental strategies reimbursement project.
In this project, school districts examined how vaping devices are identified and classified in school policies.
The new policies impact the school environment by establishing and informing parents of student behvavior.
So far, the funding has been issued to Blacklick Valley, Forest Hills and Richland School District.
