Green coloring in Johnstown’s Conemaugh River sparked some concerns from residents on Wednesday.
Images taken from near Iron Street, in Cambria City, show the green liquid pouring out of a spillway near the 4th Avenue bridge.
We are working to get answers about what exactly it is.
We reached out to the Johnstown Water Authority who say they are not involved.
Some officials we spoke with say the liquid looks like a trace dye, which is used for detecting leaks in the water system, but that has yet to be confirmed.
