A Tyrone man who was charged in a fatal DUI-related crash that killed a Warriors Mark woman has been sentenced, according to Huntingdon County District Attorney David Smith.
Authorities say Richard Ewing, 43, was sentenced to serve 11 to 22 years in prison for causing the fatal crash on Route 350 that claimed the life of 59-year-old Wendy Reitz last June.
Police say Ewing was under the influence of drugs at the time of the crash.
Authorities say he previously pleaded guilty to charges of homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, possession with intent to deliver and DUI.
Ewing was also one of eight individuals charged in a riot at the Blair County Prison last November that injured a corrections officer.
