This is our last official week without High School Football
There are scrimmages this Friday but next week is the real deal
We are staying in the Mountain League as we continue our High School Football previews starting with the Tyrone Golden Eagles
Head Coach John Franco is hoping to reap the benefits from last years struggles
Tyrone had a young team in 2021 that lacked varsity experience Franco says only about 3 senior started the Golden Eagles finished the year 5-6 overall and 4-2 in conference play
But this year the offense and defense are brining back 8 starters who made it to the playoffs
The High School Football scene is ever changing with players graduating every season but coach Franco knows that he knows it is apart of the game he also knows that his team gained that needed experience last year to be better now
Franco says this team still has a lot to prove and they have the chance to do that right out of the gate
Tyrone will host Bellwood-Antis for the highly anticipated Backyard Brawl
The Blue Devils have won the Backyard Brawl for the past 3 seasons which included this double overtime win back in 2019
One Tyrone senior is ready to change that outcome week one
Only about 13 minutes and Delgrosso’s Amusement Park separate these two
