Turner Sentenced

A West Virginia man convicted of driving drunk during a deadly wrong-way crash on State Route 219 in May of 2018 was sentenced Tuesday.

Chase Turner was sentenced to eight to sixteen years in state prison followed by three to twenty-four months of state probation following his incarceration.

Turner must also pay fines and the costs of prosecution.

Turner was convicted by a Cambria County jury on May 24 of all seven charges he faced, including homicide by vehicle while under the influence, in the crash that killed Olivia Red and seriously injured her passenger three years ago.
