In the U.S. Senate race this weekend, an endorsement from former President Donald Trump. In a statement through his Save American PAC, he is giving his complete and total endorsement to Dr. Mehmet Oz. Trump said that the Surgeon and Television Personality is “smart, tough, and will never let you down.”
Oz has been running 2nd in polling to former hedge fund CEO David McCormick. Politico reports that both men had been to Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in recent days as Trump weighed whether he would make an endorsement in the race.
