Fire crews on scene confirmed to 6 News that a train collided with a van Thursday in the area of Hogue Road and Dutch Road in East Carroll Township.
Dispatchers say one person was transported to UPMC Altoona. The extent of injuries is unknown at this time.
State police are still investigating the cause of the incident.
