Students Visit Flight 93 Memorial

The Flight 93 National Memorial welcomed a group of students and gave them the opportunity to learn the story of Flight 93 and September 11th.

The students were guided by a park ranger and received a tour of the memorial, the visitors center, and all of the exhibits.

“The memorial really tells its own story of the 40 passengers and crew members. They get to learn about those individuals, it’s not just something they’re reading about in a history book. They learn about the people who were on that plane and I think that is very impactful.”

Over the past year, more than 10-thousand students have visited the memorial and the Friends of Flight 93 raised money to provide transportation for those students.
