Firefighter Steven Unger has passed away on December 23rd at the age of 94. The vigil was held this afternoon and evening at the Baker Harris Funeral Chapel.
The Conemaugh Independence Volunteer Fire Company started at the fire hall and marched to the funeral home to honor him.
A funeral mass will be held tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. at the Church of the Transfiguration.
