Steelers vs Titans Game in Jeopardy

On Tuesday, news broke about the Tennessee Titans Organization that could reportedly put their game with the Pittsburgh Steelers on stand-by for this Sunday at 1pm. 3 Players and 5 members of the Organization tested positive for COVID-19. That’s 8 total. The Titans just defeated the Vikings last week, so as a precaution each team facility will remain closed through Saturday. It was originally thought the game would be called, but it hasn’t yet. The League at this moment will keep it on as scheduled for 1pm, but the fall back plan could be to play it Monday night or even Tuesday.

The Steelers released this statement Tuesday to Mike Garafalo of NFL Network: “We have been in contact with the NFL regarding the positive COVID-19 tests with the Tennessee Titans. We have been informed to proceed with our game preparations for Sunday’s game until we are informed otherwise.”
