It’s not always pretty, but week by week the Steelers find a way. Pittsburgh faced the Cowboys in Dallas on Sunday. The 4th QB for Dallas this year, Garrett Gilbert. Last time he saw the field was in the XFL with the Orlando Apollos. His first TD in the NFL caught by CeeDee Lamb. Ben took the hard hit and immediately held his knee. He left the game for a while, but not before this. Limping and all, Ben completes a pass to Eric Ebron on 3rd and 7. Then, Ben pump fakes and a pass to James Washington for 17 yards and a Touchdown. Ben was fine after Half Time, but the Steelers down 10 in the 4th. Juju Smith-Shucster takes one in for his first TD since week 3. The Cowboys with a chance to extend their lead, but this pass batted away by TJ Watt. On the next play, Gilbert intercepted by Minkah Fitzpatrick. Steelers down with under 2 to go, Ebron hops over the Cowboys into the end zone for the lead. Pittsburgh must love giving us all anxiety waiting until the very last play to know if they’ll win. Gilbert made some big time plays to get to this point, but it is broken up by Fitzpatrick. Steelers win 24-19. They stay a perfect 8-0, the best start in Franchise history.
