Good evening. Despite the depressing loss over the weekend to the Chargers, the Steelers continue to hold their heads high as they prepare for divisional showdown at Cincinnati this weekend, especially on the offensive side of the football, because it seems as if now as if the black and gold have secured a few things out look much more fluid it against L.A.
You know, L.A. doesn’t exactly boast one of the league’s best defenses, but especially in the second half, the Steelers got it going. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was great, and he’s been better than he has been all year of late.
Mind you, that’s without having any in-person prep time coming off the cupboard this late in the week. Ben sees some things that now work, especially in that no huddle offense as he gets more up to speed with it, more comfortable with it.
They like to win the close ones, but there might be a silver lining here to look towards for the second half of the season.
“Pretty much. Well, hopefully I think we punted once, you know, we finally able to put some points on the board.
I don’t, you know, I don’t know our stance in terms of third down conversions and things like that, but you know, it’s it’s there is some encouraging things to be found from that game. Unfortunately, don’t win. That’s that’s the worst part.
I think we would take a win and crappy offense over a great offense and not winning. But you know, we we still there are some things that we can grow on with it.”
