Elk County coroner Michelle Muccio has identified the victim of Tuesday’s fatal house fire in Saint Marys.
The coroner’s office identified the woman as 85-year-old Margaret Cavalline.
Officials say the fire broke out in the kitchen area of the home around 4:30 p.m.
Muccio says the woman was pronounced dead approximately one hour later and says she died as a result of smoke inhalation.
