In Centre County an accident required a victim to be life flighted to Mount Nittany Medical Center.
Initial reports indicate that an SUV collided with a motorcycle at the intersection of South Atherton Street and Branch Road, reportedly leaving the cyclist unresponsive.
The landing zone for the helicopter was the State College Community Fields a few blocks away from the scene.
The crash with the bike was hard enough that it forced the air bags to deploy in the SUV.
The State College Area School District tweeted that the accident caused South Atherton Street and several nearby roads to be closed.
