Over the past few years, Sideline Cancer Basketball has seen great success in The Basketball Tournament. In 2020, they lost in the Championship game. In 2021, they made it to the Semifinals. Now in 2022, the Hollidaysburg team is at it again.
Shooting Gaurd Maurice Creek is back for the 5th year straight. Creek hit the Game Winner in 2020 to send Sideline Cancer to the Championship Round, but the “Player of the Day” goes to Mike Daum. Daum had 31 points, 9 rebounds, and went 11 of 18 from the floor.
The Winner is the first Team to score 78 points. This Game went down to the wire at the end, but it was Daum with the Game Winning 3. They beat Defeat Diabetes 78-77.
Sideline Cancer advances to the next Round.
