After a truly dominating performance on Thursday to open up NEC play, the Lady Red Flash looked for more against Central Connecticut State on Friday with a trip to the NEC Tourney Title Game on the line. On Thursday, Homers were flying out of the ball part left and right for SFU and in the circle Grace Vesco tossed a 10 Strikeout No-Hitter.
On Friday, things went right down to the wire and runs were at a premium. In the Seventh Inning tied at 1, McKenzie Saban with a lead off double. Shes now at third. Allen Bejak walks it off with a single up the middle. SFU takes it 2-1. The Lady Flash going crazy and rightfully so.
They can celebrate their way all the way to Saturday’s Championship Game at Noon.
