Ridgway House Fire

State police are providing new details on Saturday’s fire in Elk County that reportedly sent three people to the hospital.

Troopers have identified the fire victims as a 34-year-old woman and two children, ages twelve and two.

Investigators say crews were dispatched early Saturday morning to the 300 block of North Broad Street, in Ridgway Borough, for reports of a structure fire.

Authorities say crews were on scene for several hours and the three victims were transported to the hospital.

According to a GoFundMe set up for the family, the victims were all transported to hospitals in the Pittsburgh area and the woman is reportedly in stable condition.

While investigators have not yet confirmed the conditions of the victims, the children are reportedly still being treated for burns and smoke inhalation and are allegedly in critical condition.

State police say the cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
