More than $7-thousand dollars in drugs was seized by the Blair County drug task force in Tyrone.
Authorites say a warrant executed Tuesday on Blair Avenue led them to a substantial amount of crystal methamphetamine that was observed throughout the residence, a handgun and other drugs.
Upon execution of the search warrant 42 year old Richard Ewing was arrested.
A second warrant was executed for another residence where police say Ewing spent quite a bit of time.
That’s where they say they found two ounces of marijuana and more than 2 thousand dollars.
Ewing was taken to the Blair County prison. He faces a number of drug charges.
