In Clearfield County one 15 year old created a program to help those battling with Parkinsons Disease called Punching Back at Parkinsons
Aviana Gillaugh and Turnabout Boxing began this weekly program back in the Spring at the Dubois W.P.A.L.
It is open to anyone battling against Parkinsons. The program helps those with different levels of mobility
Gillaugh is teaching the patients different skill sets to help slow down the progression of Parkinsons while also informing those about the disease
