PSU Students Will NOT Be Sent Home

During a virtual town hall meeting this Afternoon, Penn State President Eric Barron again says the university is not ready to move to a remote learning format only and cancel on campus classes despite an increasing number of
COVID-19 cases being reported at the university.

“Many times i hear what will it take for you to send those students home. well 75 percent of the off campus students at university park are living in apartments with leases they signed before the pandemic arose”

Barron says at this point, the plan continues to be to maintain campus classes until mid-November for Thanksgiving break.
