Recently we told you about an online petition asking the Centre County District Attorney to reopen the investigation in to the death of Justine Gross.
She died last November in what State College Police termed an accident, after falling 11 stories in a high rise apartment trash chute.
The D.A. Has decline to reopen the case citing the police investigation and the Centre County Coroner’s report.
The Coroner said gross died with Marijuana and Alcohol in her system. But the full autopsy report was not released and its now the subject of a legal dispute.
After a New Jersey media outlet, Gross was from New Jersey, requested the autopsy report Centre County refused to release it citing various stipulations.
An appeal was filed to the state’s office of open records and that office reversed the county decision granted the release of the Gross autopsy report
Once the required fees are paid, Centre County has responded by filing an appeal to that decision to release autopsy report in court.
In an order dated May 27th, a judge is giving both parties added time to file more information.
