The world of college sports is in a holding pattern as teams all across the country wait and see how the COVID-19 pandemic pans out one of those is Penn State.
Who got another update Today of their in house testing. Officials say there have been eight positive cases so far and 66 are pending results.
They say those who tested positive have been put into isolation for 14 days and will be re-tested at that point.
Athletic administrators also say contact tracing procedures were put in place and they expect student athletes to continue following guidelines by wearing masks, keeping social distance and washing their hands.
Meanwhile Penn State athletics is still gathering feedback from season ticket holders, through a survey about attending football games at Beaver Stadium, and what they expect in terms of pandemic protection.
Among the questions is one asking,”Would you be willing to donate a portion of your season ticket allotment for a Penn State students only game?”
13 Thousand surveys have been received so far.
There’s no decision yet on whether the Nittany Lions will be playing this Fall.
