It’s now Official, Gregory Polanco of the Pittsburgh Pirates has been Designated For Assignment. Polanco is last member of the Pirates Team that went on the run from 2013-2015. Pirates Manager Derek Shelton said that his decision on the Right Fielder was probably one of the most challenging things he’s done with the Pirates yet.
Polanco ended on a Hot Streak. In his last 4 Games, he went 6 for 11.
