Pittsburgh Teams Make Moves

The City of Pittsburgh made moves on Monday. The Steelers have promoted their Quarterbacks Coach Matt Canada to be the Offensive Coordinator for a year. Canada is replacing Randy Fitchner. Now the Pirates have also made some moves here to start off the week.

On Monday, the Pirates signed free agent Catcher Joe Hudson to a Minor League contract, which includes an invitation to the Big League Camp. Last Season with Seattle, Hudson went 3 for 17 in nine games during three separate stints. This news comes a day after the trade of right handed pitcher Jameson Taillon to the Yankees. The Pirates acquired 4 Minor League Prospects Players from New York.
