Pirates Spring Training

Baseball’s opening day is just a few days away the Pittsburgh Pirates head to St Louis to play the Cardinals for game #1 of 162 Thursday Afternoon.

Today, they played their penultimate spring training game against the Baltimore Orioles.

And the Bucco bats got hot Today in the Florida sun.

Led by Diego Castillo who the team announced before the game has made the opening day roster he rewarded the team by going 4 for 4 today with a 2 run homer, his 6th of the Spring.

Brian Reynolds and Hunter Owen also hit round trippers as the Bucs beat the O’s 9-3.

The Pirates announced over the weekend Jt Brubaker will start opening day and said Today Jose Quintana will start the home opener next Tuesday against the Chicago Cubs.
