The Pennsylvania Healthcare Association (PHCA) presented a plan to State Leaders on Monday. The plan was on how to address the State’s growing challenge for people trying to access care. Specifically, concerns over staffing shortages due to COVID-19.
Officials say the overwhelmed Healthcare System is impacting long-term care patients when it relates to discharging and accepting patients. The Association is now outlining steps to address this concern, including reforming the State’s vaccine task force policies.
