Pens / Nashville

The Pittsburgh Penguins hit the road for a tough one Last Night in Nashville the place you might remember that saw the franchise clinch its 5th Stanley Cup in its storied history

Oh but on this night things did not go like the infamous game number six. Jussi Sorrows was solid between the pipes for the Preds, and Nashville seized control of this one just before the first period horn when Matthias Eckholm ripped one past Casey Desmith after the Pens failed to handle a defensive zone draw.

In the second period things seemed to take a turn after Jake Guentzel fired one home on a beauty of a feed from Kris Letang and we were tied but what followed, was three straight Preds goals en route to a 4-1 win

To make matters worse the Rangers got two points in the standings with a win of their own last night

Head Coach Mike Sullivan post game more positive than one mightve expected coming out of a loss.
