Pens Lose First Game After GM Resigns

Now that the Penguins organization has had the time to process the abrupt departure of General Manager Jim Rutherford. The focus can shift to the next generation and the next step for the franchise

Patrik Allvin will take over duties on an interim basis. And it seems he has the full confidence of those in the front office and is ready to fill the big shoes of GM. Allvin becomes the first Sweedish born GM in the NHL’s
history and when asked about what the focus will be.

Now there was a game to prepare for tonight the Penguins looked to exact revenge on Boston who got the best of them last time out in overtime. The Pens entered 4-2-1 on the year and need to keep racking up points

Although Rutherford will be missed the goal remains the same when they talked pregame.
