Today is the third of three straight off days for the Pittsburgh Penguins as they tried to right the ship from two straight losses. Someone who doesn’t always take the podium took it today and did some talking.
Star center Evgeni Malkin talked about the state of the Pens as they prepare to play the Devils tomorrow in New Jersey
This year Mike Sullivan has bounced the guys playing alongside Evgeni Malkin around. But right now, Malkin liking the chemistry they are building on his line.
“I think last couple of games I played was a guard to handle. Like it’s like I think we learned pretty good.”
“Like, I mean, like, we try. Can score five on five. Yeah, it was like and you guessed Toronto, but I mean, like, we have lots of good players in our team and I was my game all Lakers when I played my best.”
“I think I give like my winning chance to score. And I hope Blake will play same line longer and we understand each other more and like to is better and I hope we have him to win.”
Hopefully, they can widen the gap in tomorrow’s game against the Devils that will be held at PPG Paints Arena at 7:00
