Pa DOH COVID-19 Update

The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed an additional 1,258 Coronavirus cases in the state Monday bringing the statewide total to 145,063 throughout all 67 counties.

The last time the Health Department updated the number of new cases in Pennsylvania was Saturday. They say they’re no longer providing reports on Sundays.

Philadelphia cases were not included in Monday’s report.

Eighty-two percent of the state’s total cases are considered to be recovered.

There have now been 3,556 confirmed cases in our viewing area, according to the Department of Health, and 49 total deaths.

One hundred and forty-nine new cases were reported in our viewing area since Saturday.

Centre reported 102 additional cases while Blair and Clearfield counties each reported 15.

Bedford reported 10, Cambria reported seven and Huntingdon reported one less case.

Cambria County reported its seventh virus-related death.

Overall, state health officials reported seven more Coronavirus-related deaths bringing Pennsylvania’s death toll to 7,869.
