Pa. Ballot Segregation

The ballots being segregated come from 2 court battles, one, where ballots that were postmarked by election day but did not arrive at county election offices until a 3 day grace period after the election.

The other set are provisional ballots that are known as “cured” ballots.

These are cases where voters were notified on election day. That their mail-in ballot had some sort of error.

The courts will make the ultimate decision on if the policies that let these ballots be cast were valid or not,but officials say the votes being cast aside temporarily are not only factored in the vote count right now. But they don’t amount to much in the final count.

Officials say President elect Joe Biden which President Trump disputes is more than 45-thousand votes ahead of President Trump.
