The Nicktown Fire Company has announced the passing of Nicktown Fire Chief Jim Mitasky. According to the department, Mitasky had been a member of the Fire Company since its beginning.
A viewing for Mitasky was held on Sunday from 3-7pm at Moriconi Funeral Home, with a Firefighter lineup taking place at 5:45pm in the evening.
The Funeral Service was held Monday Morning at 10am at the St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Nicktown.
