There was a ground breaking ceremony held Today in Somerset County for the expansion of a rehabilitation facilIty.
It’s for UPMC Western Behavioral Health at Twin Lakes Campus.
Thanks to state grants and charitable contributions, this expansion will allow for 20 additional residents to be able to seek residential treatment for substance abuse disorder.
“This is a beautiful setting to bring people in who are troubled, who are having concerns, who want to get better, who want to improve, who want to recover. And what better way to do that than to spend time here.”
The project includes the construction of a new building, and renovation of the current facility.
It’s expected to be completed in early 2023
