We have some good news for bikers there’s now four miles of new bike lanes along Route 403 in Cambria County to enjoy.
Those lanes go from the Cambria, Somerset county line into Upper Yoder Township and through Ferndale Borough and end at the intersection of Route 56 in Johnstown.
Today Senator Wayne Langerholc joined state and local leaders in the city to talk about how these bike lanes will help add a healthy, accessible and affordable way for people to get around the county
“What I see some people may only see the silhouette on the road income dollars coming to our region families taking advantage of low cost recreational activities overall focus on health.”
The bike lanes cost more than four million dollars and they’re a part of be SafePA where drivers must give bicyclists four feet of space to pass
