Missing Dog Found

The Humane Society of Cambria County says a missing dog has been found safe and that she has been returned to the people who adopted her.

Baileys is a 1-year-old Irish Setter was removed from unfit living conditions in Indiana County in February and taken to a shelter, where she was later adopted.

At the end of March, on her way to her new home, she got loose and ran away.

Several groups were searching for Baileys, and after a pair of calls reporting sightings in the same area, she was trapped safely Monday by the breast of the North Fork dam by the group “Lost and Found Pets of Somerset County.”

The Humane Society of Cambria County will now help the adopters with decompression and safety measures to keep Baileys from running away again.
