And state headlines this evening, one person is reported to be trapped in a mine collapse near Pennsylvania, West Virginia’s border today.
Crews responded to the underground mine collapse in Fayette County near Lake Lynn, Pennsylvania, around 3:00 this afternoon.
Both Pennsylvania State and the federal mine safety engineers are also responding to that site.
The company that manages the Laurel Aggregates Lake Linn mine says safety is their number one priority.
The spokesperson for the company, says more information on the collapse is going to be shared when it’s appropriate.
