Mike Tedesco Stepping Down

There is a change in leadership coming to a Johnstown civic group.

Vision Together 2025’s President and CEO Mike Tedesco has submitted his letter of resignation, the group confirmed  Tuesday. Tedesco told The Tribune-Democrat Tuesday he is pursuing other “entrepreneurial opportunities” in the region.

It comes after several investigations into their human capital plan, which included recruiting refugees into the city, which was met with criticism from citizens and a bipartisan group of government and civic leaders over the group’s lack of transparency.

“The Vision Together 2025 Executive Committee has accepted Mike Tedesco’s resignation and we wish him only the very best in his future endeavors,” said Bill Polacek, Vision Together 2025 Board Chairman, in a statement. “While we immediately search for Mike’s replacement, we want to assure all involved with Vision that this change will not deter our mission of creating a stronger, more vibrant region. We will continue to focus on being a collaborative organization that brings resources and residents together to revitalize our community.”
