Penn State has played 3 quarterbacks so far this season

Sean Clifford, Drew Allar and Christian Veillieux

Head Coach James Franklin game plan was to get everybody playing time when it allowed

Clifford and Allar have played the most of the 3, Clifford is the 6-year vet and starting QB, but the future looks promising with Allar, he’s 10-14 on 143 yards, 2 TD’s, no interceptions and a completion percentage of 71.4

Saint Francis also has multiple Quarterbacks in their mix

Justin Slywoski and Cole Doyle both contributed in their first win of the season over Wagner Saturday

Doyle took a majority of the snaps 12 of 18 for 122 yards 1 TD and 0 ints he also rushed for 40 yards

The Red Flash entered the season with the plan to use both and alternate them after every possession

Both Kedon Slovis the starter and Nick Patti the backup hurt in the Johnny Majors Classic against Tennessee

So true Freshman Nate Yarnell started Saturday against Western Michigan

Yarnell led the Panthers to a win 179 yards on 9 for 12 1 TD no interceptions

He was named the ACC rookie of the week after the win
