A Johnstown man convicted in April of first-degree murder was sentenced Tuesday.
Paul Lehman will serve a life sentence without the possibility of parole.
A jury found him guilty of the stabbing death of Deontaye Hurling in Old Conemaugh Borough on Thanksgiving Day in 2018.
Lehman testified that he and Hurling got into a fight over drugs.
Lehman told the jury he thought he saw Hurling reach for a gun so he pulled out his pocket knife and stabbed him 46 times as Hurling crashed into a fish tank.
He was also convicted of two counts of aggravated assault and tampering with evidence.
