Lawrence Township Police responded to an assault at a local restaurant just before 1am on Saturday. A man called the Police saying that his wife and another woman assaulted him. he left in a white SUV and a witness said he was intoxicated. When Officers caught up with the man, they say he was extremely intoxicated and irate.
An investigation concluded that he had gotten into a physical confrontation with is wife, grabbing her by the throat after she had gotten into a fight with his ex-girlfriend. He is in the Clearfield County Jail facing several charges including simple assault and driving under the influence.
