Oppressive heat is moving in on top of mass destruction in Kentucky.
Kentucky’s Governor is sounding the alarm on the potentially life-threatening temperatures but stresses response teams will not be deterred.
“Even as you’re seeing the destruction over here, about every 2 miles there’s another place distributing water that people are pulling through putting supplies in their car. Help has truly shown up and it’s real special to see.”
People there on the front lines are often working with no power, and no clean running water.
The Governor says more than 400 people with nothing left are now living in shelters.
