A Johnstown Police officer was honored at the council meeting last night for her life saving measures.
Mayor Frank Janakovic says officer Melissa Nagle performed life saving measures on an infant on Thanksgiving Day who had been suffering from a seizure and choking.
She then rushed the infant out to EMS for further treatment.
Janakovic says officer Nagle’s actions and quick response was in the finest traditions of the department.
