A fire that ripped through a Johnstown home Sunday morning has claimed the life of a second child, according to the children’s father.
Joseph Ferguson provided the sad update on the family’s GoFundMe page that was created after the devastating fire.
Collin, just 5-years-old, passed away Wednesday around 11:20 a.m.,
“Please continue to help our family with prayers and help with understanding,” Ferguson wrote on the GoFundMe page. “Gone way too soon #gonewaytoosoon.”
Flames broke out at the home, along Clover Street in Moxham, just after 2 a.m.
Feya Ferguson died in the fire, according to Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees who ruled the 4-year-old’s death accidental caused by thermal and inhalation injuries.
Two others, including the children’s grandfather, were taken to the hospital.
Ferguson says his father remains in critical condition.
