Johnstown Building Fire

Fire departments from Johnstown, West Hills and Richland responded to what county dispatch called a commercial fire in the 1900 block of Mary Grace Ln. Thursday morning.

It’s unclear what type of commercial property it is, but Johnstown Fire Chief Robert Statler says the building was vacant and most recently was used for storage.

He says a call for a fire at the building came in around 3:20 am.

Statler says crews showed up to see heavy smoke and flames. A roof in the main area of the structure ended up collapsing. Statler says no one was in the building at the time and no one was injured.

A fire marshal has been called in to investigate.
