Today in Blair County, a hearing was held for one of the teens involved in the murder of 15-year-old Devon Pfirsching.
Court documents say last Feburary, 16-year-old Logan Persing, Owen Southerland and Damien Green confessed to luring pfirsching near Jefferson Park in Altoona in efforts to stage a robbery.
After pulling out a gun, which was bought off of a 4th teen, Omerado Davis, a brief struggle caused the gun to fire ultimately hitting Pfirsching in the head.
But today, District Attorney Pete Weeks says they are still actively litigating Persing to be decertified for juvenile court.
He says both Southerland and Davis were denied for juvenile court.
Green’s petition is still pending by the judge.
Court documents say Davis, Green, and Persing were charged with second degree murder, while Southerland was charged with first degree.
No decision was made for Persing today as the defense team requested additional time to help further their claims.
