An Altoona woman will spend months behind bars after pleading guilty to charges related to the 2020 crash that killed a 5-year-old boy, officials said.
Authorities said 33-year-old Jayde Huber pled guilty Monday to homicide by vehicle for the deadly crash that happened Aug. 18, 2020 on Rolling Stone Road in Covington Township, Clearfield County.
Investigators said Huber was driving at a speed between 77 and 84 miles per hour right before the crash occurred near a curve in the road.
The posted speed limit on the road is listed as 55 miles per hour and speed for the curve is listed as 35 miles per hour
According to Clearfield County District Attorney Ryan Sayers, Huber got three to six months in Clearfield County Jail followed by four years of probation.
